POLAND

Funds for financing of Poland-Lithuania power link will come from special purpose fund of PSE S.A. and from European Regional Development Fund (Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment, Priority X, activity 10.1), and for preparation of V phase of the Project from TEN-E (Trans-European Energy Networks).

The total value of Phase 1 of the project of construction of the power link with Lithuania is approx. 1.8 billion PLN, of which EU funding will amount 870,38 million PLN.

  • Application No. 1 – construction of 400/220/110 kV Ołtarzew station (according to the signed Annex No. 3 to the grant agreement, the planned total cost of the project will amount to 217 009 022.43 PLN, of which EU funding will amount up to 94 481 038.88 PLN ).
  • Application No. 2 – construction of the line Ostrołęka - Narew with expansion of the Ostrołęka and Narew stations (according to the signed Annex No. 3 to the grant agreement, the planned total cost of the project will amount to 571 978 731.54 PLN, of which the EU funding will amount up to 204 556 422,54 PLN).
  • Application No. 3 – construction of the line Elk Bis - Lomza with construction of Lomza and Elk Bis stations - (stage I and II) (according to the signed Annex No. 3 to the grant agreement, the planned total cost of the project will amount to 484 265 825.37 PLN, of which the EU funding will amount up to 195 232 958,88 PLN).
  • Application No. 4 - construction of the line Miłosna - Siedlce Ujrzanów with construction of station Siedlce Ujrzanów (according to the signed annex No. 4 to the grant agreement, the planned total cost of the project will amount to 287 820 067.93 PLN, of which EU funding will amount up to 120 828 584.61 PLN).
  • Application No. 5 – construction of the line Elk Bis – Poland border (according to the signed annex No. 2 to the grant agreement, planned total cost of the project will amount to 573 207 634.64 PLN, of which EU funding will amount up to 221 733 659.37 PLN)
  • Application No. 6 – construction of station Stanisławów- (according to the signed annex No. 3 to the grant agreement, planned total cost of the project will amount to PLN 74 796 690.77, of which EU funding will amount up to 33 550 200.00 PLN).

LITHUANIA

Funding for financing of construction of Poland-Lithuania power link will come from own sources of power grid operator Litgrid AB and from European Union funds, including:

  • European Union funding program Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) in the amount up to 27 376 500 euros;
  • Trans-European Networks Energy (TEN-E) in the amount up to 2 366 508 EUR (decision 2009-E263/09-ENER/09/TEN-E –SI2.566837 and 2013-E352/13-ENER/13/TEN-E – SI2.675750 in the amount up to 50 000 EUR;
  • Ignalina International Decommissioning Support Fund, which is administrated by EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) – in the amount of up to 2 million EUR;
