Detailed plans for the reconstruction and expansion of a transformer station in Alytus have been approved

Detailed plans for the reconstruction and expansion of a transformer station inWe inform that on the 26th of May 2011, during the meeting of the Council of the Alytus Region Municipality the detailed plans for the reconstruction and expansion of Alytus transformer station were approved, changing the principal use purpose of land plots according to the approved detailed plans.

The following detailed plans have been developed:
- Detailed plan for the current transformer station in Alytus and new back-to-back converter station
- Detailed plan for expansion of Alytus 330 kV switchyard

In both detailed plans following land use planning was taken into account:
• Creating land for the construction of buildings, allowing the development of economic activities;
• Conversion of land use for special purposes for transport service sites (areas of transport infrastructure);
• Separation of land with an area of 27.9244 hectares (cadastral No. 3328/0004: 477) and 13.6188 hectares (cadastral No. 3328/0004: 478) from the joint ownership and land use change only in the part of the land belonging to the AB "LITGRID" ;
• The division of land with an area of 8.4728 hectares (cadastral number 3310/0001: 288) on a separate parcel and land use change only in the part of the land belonging to AB “LITGRID”;
• Land use, land use for building projects and land use in accordance with the new specifications.

The organizer of the project AB "LITGRID" based on the approved detailed plans and technical project for the reconstruction and expansion of a transformer station in Alytus (which is planned to be prepared by the end of 2013) will be able to apply  for building permits for the above mentioned infrastructure.
